Are you outgoing, motivated, and comfortable starting conversations? Anh Nguyen’s State Farm agency is looking for a Telemarketer to help connect with prospective customers and schedule appointments for our team serving Alexandria and Annandale.
About the Role
You’ll reach out to potential customers, introduce our agency, and help create opportunities for our team to discuss their insurance needs. This role focuses on making calls, building interest, and setting appointments.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers using agency-provided leads.
- Introduce the agency and identify interest in discussing insurance options.
- Schedule appointments for licensed team members.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate records of calls and conversations.
- Work toward established calling and appointment-setting goals.
- Follow agency procedures and applicable telemarketing and privacy requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
- A positive attitude and the ability to handle rejection respectfully.
- Dependability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfort using a computer and learning customer-management software.
- Previous telemarketing, customer service, or sales experience is a plus.
